Traditional
Forest School
for Kids
What is this service?
Our Traditional Forest School for Kids provides an inspirational and long term approach to education, health, and wellbeing through deep nature connection core activities set in a woodland environment.
Who are the sessions run by?
All sessions are run by Claire Samways and her team of Honeybees – see Who We Are.
“Wild and free like the Honeybee”
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions take place in a unique woodland location. We are currently running sessions at Glasswater Wood in Crossgar Co Down, a Woodland Trust owned site in a stunning location. Includes parking facilities, easy access, an abundance of wildlife, native Irish trees, ponds, and paths for ease of walking.
An exceptional site for The Honeybees Forest School which allows us to facilitate a unique, high standard of delivery and what sets us apart.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Our current groups are delivered to children aged between 7-12 years. However, should you feel that your child could join the current session, please email us so we can discuss this option with you.
As we grow, we want to deliver sessions to all age groups of kids between 4-18 years. If you be interested in this service for your kids let us know by joining our Waiting List. We will then contact you when we start running additional sessions for these age groups.
